Description
Amazing palace mirror.
Masterfully made in solid wood, the openwork finial of the rocaille, half a meter high (!), gives it a unique character.
Despite such rich decoration, the mirror has excellent proportions and does not overwhelm the place where it is located, but decorates it in an absolutely unique way.
Mirrors with such a high, openwork, intricately crafted crowning element, preserved in perfect condition, are extremely rare in antiquarian trade, because this element is - contrary to appearances - very delicate and susceptible to damage.
